Extraction is a 2020 American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and screenplay by Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando Leon Gonzalez, etc. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi. The plot follows a black ops mercenary who must rescue an Indian drug lord's kidnapped son in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The first thing I would like to applaud in this movie is the acting in this movie. Oh my god, you could not ask a better bunch of professionals. Chris Hemsworth and Randeep Hooda are the ones that really stood out. The film has got good action scenes, beautiful screenplay, good direction for a director doing his first movie and is left at a conundrum, a mind tickle to the viewers. Therefore it's good in the first look but I personally waited for the one twist the film lacked. It was like watching a play that goes on and on and you already know what's going to happen. Also, if you do movies out of Hollywood, make sure to have some authenticity of the place because that category provides the essence. This film has covered the linguistic part but not authenticity. If you're bored then this is your go-to movie and you'll be passing a good time.
